12th International Conference and Expo Show on ELECTRIC MOBILITY

During the last years, in all countries, the urban transportation raised specific problems and caused important political, social and environmental problems: pollution, noise, stress. That is why the research and technological development activities are encouraged to provide clean and efficient transportation, especially in the European countries, USA and Japan. The laws regarding the environmental protection aim at limiting the greenhouse effect and Romania - as an EU member - must and wishes to follow the same direction.
An answer to the problems of the environmental pollution is the Electric Vehicle - as an alternative transportation vector. That is why in the last twenty years the electric vehicle has been re-discovered. Electric vehicles which are mostly known for being clean and silent were expected to answer to the growing demand for clean and efficient transportation.
Come and see EV 2017 as the hub for electric mobility professionals, but also for electric cars enthusiasts. EV 2017 will take place on 5th and 6th of October 2017 at Icpe Solar Park and it will bring together a number of national and international specialists in the e-mobility field who will present scientific papers closely related to electric mobility

5-6 October 2017,
Icpe Solar Park, Bucuresti, Romania

Electric & Hybrid Industrial Vehicle Technology Symposium

Electric & Hybrid Industrial Vehicle Technology Symposium, which takes place in Cologne from 14-15 November, will be the world’s only conference exclusively dedicated to the design and development of electric and hybrid vehicle technology for the construction, agricultural, industrial and off-highway vehicle industry.
The symposium will bring together R&D engineers and heads of design and engineering from around the world to discuss, debate and analyse the growing possibilities and future developments for the hybridisation and full electrification of construction, industrial and off-highway vehicles.
Although electrification in transportation is increasing, commercial, construction and agricultural vehicles pose their own specific design and development challenges. The Electric & Hybrid Industrial Vehicle Technology Symposium will discuss and debate the technological breakthroughs required for increased deployment. Electrification offers the potential to significantly reduce emissions and noise levels, cut fuel, lower maintenance costs and eliminate hydraulic systems, as well as a host of other benefits. So this conference is a must-attend event for all OEMs, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, and anyone involved in the industrial and construction vehicle market.

Graphene & 2D Materials?

What is Graphene & 2D Materials? The graphene industry is going through an interesting period. The number of suppliers has grown, resulting in increased production capacity worldwide. There is continued appetite for investment and the end user interest in graphene and its potential grows surprisingly fast. End users from many industries now want to evaluate graphene and suppliers are increasingly building up very robust pipelines. The go-to-market strategy is still largely based on substituting existing materials. Here, graphene is still in the realm of offering more for more (or the same at the best) although a more-for-same value proposition may soon be reached if cost reductions exceed their current rapid trajectory. The first wave of products have already hit the markets. Most are small volumes and somewhat gimmicky, capitalising on the good brand of 'graphene'. The best however is to yet to come as new applications steadily make their way through the long and winding qualification tunnels.
